Savannah LaRocque, the daughter of Aaron and Libby LaRocque, is the Social Studies department’s student of the month for grades seven and eight.  Savannah is a hard working student who comes to class with a smile and positive attitude every day.  She is always prepared for class and showcases her knowledge by asking and answering questions.  Her leadership, attitude, and study skills set her apart as a role model in the classroom.  Savannah is involved in Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time on the river with family and being around friends.

Susan Stoll has been chosen the student of the month in the high school social studies department.  Susan is the daughter of Marty and Beth Stoll and is a senior at W-K.  She is currently enrolled in AP psychology class as well as stress management class.   Susan was chosen as student of the month because of her enthusiasm for class, her positive attitude and her work ethic.  Susan comes to class every day with a smile and a level of excitement that is contagious to everyone around her.  She is a diligent worker who treats all students and staff with respect, kindness and consideration. She is a model student who makes learning fun and prioritizes doing well in her classes. According to Susan she loves AP psychology class because she likes class discussion and she is very interested in learning about human behavior and the mind.  Susan is very involved in school activities at W-K as she is a member of the National Honor Society, president of the SADD chapter, a senior class officer, on the yearbook committee and a varsity softball player.  In her free time she likes spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events and relaxing on the river.  Congratulations Susan!

 Alliyah Beisell, daughter of Jennifer Gusa and Wayne Beisell, is the Social Studies Department’s student of the month for grades nine through ten.  Alliyah is an out of the box thinker who brings her curiosity of the world to class every day.  She speaks her mind and enjoys discussing the latest current events.  Alliyah is involved in Volleyball, Track & Field, and SADD.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends.
