 My name is Leanne Kruger! I am very excited to be working at Wabasha-Kellogg School!I work with student’s pre-K-12th grade. I see students in their classrooms, in small groups, and on an individual basis. Some students experience stressful situations that can affect their learning. As the school social worker I can help address these situations as they may arise with students. I can help empower the student to be successful in their learning environment. I work together with the student, parents, teachers, and staff to help promote a positive learning experience. A students learning can be affected by their interactions outside the school. Having a collaborative relationship between families and the school can often times make a positive impact on a student’s educational success.
