Wecome to Speech and Language

Meet the Speech Therapists!

Kay Miller M.S.
CCC-SLP

Welcome from one of your speech and language clinicians at W-K!!!  My name is Kay Miller and I am a speech-language pathologist which are just big words we use to describe people who work with individuals that have difficulty communicating.  I have been at W-K for many years and enjoy working here very much.

I have an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from South Dakota State University and a Master's Degree from the University of North Dakota.  I have worked in the field of communication disorders since my graduation from UND but have been at WK since 1994.

When not at W-K, my other "job" is working on our family dairy farm with my husband and kids.  My husband, Tom, enjoys keeping all of our children-Bryton, Brianna, Dalon, Tagen, Talia, and Terrik involved in the daily chores of a dairy farm.  We are a busy family but love it!!

Please don't hesitate to call or stop in if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's speech and language development.  I would be very happy to talk to you and together we can work out how we can best help your child. My extension is 306 and my email is .

Kelsey Becker B.A. SLP

Hello from
the new speech-language pathologist at W-K!! My name is Kelsey Becker. I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This is my first year at W-K. I am lucky to have such great co-workers, who have been nothing but helpful to me since day one. Please do not see my lack of experience as lack of ability to successfully administer speech and language therapy services. I spend many hours a week putting together customized therapy activities and researching materials and disorders to assure that what is being used in my therapy room is tailored to each student's unique needs.

I am very family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my family and friends on the weekends. We enjoy going up north to our cabin, fishing, watching movies and spending quality time together. Other than spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy being outdoors, painting, reading and being involved in extra-curricular activities. I am the co-adviser of the High School Student Council at W-K.

Please don't be a stranger! I would love to hear from you with any questions, comments or concerns about your child and thier speech or language difficulties. Call or email at anytime. My extension is 324 and my email is .
