Ms. Anna Vanwey is the Wabasha-Kellogg high school Physical/Health Education student of the month.  Anna is the daughter of Leo and Amy Vanwey.  Anna gives 100% on all of her physical and health education assignments, as well as the physical education warm-ups and fitness tests.  Despite Anna’s drive to improve, it is ensured fun will be had and all participants will be involved in the activity.    Ms. Vanwey’s favorite part of physical education is all the different games we learn to play and likes how the class gives her more energy for the rest of the day.  Her favorite part of health class is becoming more knowledgeable on health related issues and learning about ways to take care and keep our bodies healthy.  Anna is involved in volleyball, softball, and SADD at school and in her spare time she enjoys hiking, shopping and being on her phone.   Anna’s favorite unhealthy food is doughnuts and her favorite healthy food is her mom’s homemade vegetable casserole.  Anna, thank you for being a great role model and making W-K a better place!
