Reading/Language Arts

We're continuing our novel study of Jacqueline Davies' book, "The Lemonade War." We're creating a reading notebook that focuses on a language arts or reading skill each day. This week, we'll be focusing on vocabulary, figurative language, and similes and metaphors.

This week features reading pictographs and bar graphs, writing to compare graphs and data, graphing ordered pairs, and reading line graphs.

Science
Science and Social Studies will be skipped this week as we attend to the many holiday tasks we have to complete.
