About Me...

My name is Daria (pronounced like "I dare ya") Dalager and this is my 11th year of teaching at Wabasha-Kellogg. I am truly enjoying my work as a 3rd-grade teacher and look forward to getting to know and mentor each and every one of my students, as well as partner with you to provide your child with a successful and memorable 3rd-grade experience.  I have an open-door policy and welcome conversations not only about your child, but about my own performance as well.

About me... I have a BA in journalism from Winona State University, and I earned my Elementary Teaching Certification and Master's in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I spent my first 17 years after college in the businesses of newspaper writing, graphic design and marketing; I was then a substitute teacher for three years in Wabasha, Lake City, and Red Wing, before spending five months as a kindergarten teacher at Bluff View Elementary in Lake City.

My family has lived in Lake City for the past 29 years.  My husband, Todd, and I have a daughter, Elyse, who is a junior at Montana State University. We also have a puppy named, Arnold. I love to garden, paint, take bluff-hiking trips, ride on my husband's Harley, and spend time with my family and friends.
