I have been married for 32 years to my husband, Rick, who works locally at WNB Financial. We have adjusted well to our life as empty-nesters! Brittany, Carly, and Lexi are our three wonderful, adult daughters. Brittany will be graduating from medical residency in June of 2020 and will begin her job as a surgical OB/GYN in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Carly has completed her Master's Degree in social work and currently works as a child protection investigator for Hennepin County in the Twin Cities. She is married and gave birth to our granddaughter last May. We are very excited to be grandparents! Lexi graduated from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and now works as a certified public accountant (CPA) in Madison, WI. Since all of my girls flew the "nest", in 2015 I decided to enroll in the Reading Teacher Program through St. Mary's University. After 15 months, I completed the program and became officially licensed as a Reading Teacher K-12. Wow, it was really different going back to the student role, but I gained a lot of knowledge which I have used the past several years to help students with reading difficulty show success! It has been a wonderful experience so far, and I look forward to many more years as a reading interventionist.
In my spare time I enjoy enriching my Catholic faith, reading, baking, exercising, and especially spending quality time with my family.
