Meet Ms. Meyer
I grew up just north of Wabasha in Lake City. I graduated from Lincoln High School in 2005. After graduation, I attended Winona State University where I recieved my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Emphasis. While attending college, I worked at the Winona Family YMCA in the Youth Center. My time spent at the Y gave me the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher. Also, while attending college I provided childcare for many families during the week and weekends. Children are my passion in life and I believe Elementary Education is where their foundation is built. Today, I am currently residing in Wabasha with my younger sister who is attending Winona State University. I am coaching 9th grade volleyball, which is another passion of mine. When I am not on the volleyball court here at school you will find me on the sand courts in the summer! Also, in my free time I enjoy to spend time with my family, friends, reading, and running.
