MEET THE TEACHER

My name is Cynthia Taplin-Mason.  I am one of the 7-12 Special Education teachers here at Wabasha-Kellogg Public Schools.  This is my 9th year teaching at Wabasha-Kellogg.  I am originally from Elmwood, Wisconsin.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with a concentration in Special Education and a Masters Degree in Education.  I also hold a degree in Cross Categorical Special Education.   I currently hold certifications in working with students with learning, emotional and behavioral, and developmental disabilities grades K-12.

I currently live in Arkansaw, Wisconsin.  I have been married to my husband Scott for 17 years and we have two children: a daughter Tessa who is 14 years old, and a son Logan who is 11 years old.  I love to garden, be outdoors and cook.
