I am Deb Hetrick, Wabasha-Kellogg Special Education Coordinator and Teacher.  I grew up in south central Minnesota in the rural community of Gaylord.  After graduation from high school, I attended a Winona State University and received my degree in Elementary Education and Specific Learning Disabilities.  In the fall of 1975, I accepted my first teaching position with Wabasha-Kellogg Schools.  The supportive Wabasha-Kellogg community and beautiful sourrounding area soon became my home.

My husband and I live in Nelson, Wisconsin.  My husband, a graduate of St. Mary's University, is an organic dairy farmer.  We have four grown children and a beautiful granddaughter.  In our free time, we enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, and snow shoeing.
