Math
This year is very important for our math skills. We are to learn multiplication as well as continue to enhance the skills you learned in the past. We are now in Chapter 2 in Math. In this chapter we look at addition and subtraction. These numbers are added to the hundred and thousands place. We also focus on estimation. |
Reading We are starting a new reading series named "Wonders." We are very excited to work in this new series. Most of the work is done in school so there isn't a story that comes home each week. Remember to work on Action 100 with the students. Our goal is to have them read 30 minutes at home. Please sign the log sheets that are sent home so we can keep track of your child's progress.
