8th Grade World Geography

I am looking forward to working with 8th grade students through many interactive units, lessons, projects, and activities related to World Geography and the Social Sciences. The content that will be covered in 8th Grade Social Studies will directly incorporate the Minnesota Social Studies Academic Standards. We will begin the year by studying a variety of different general geographic concepts relating to both physical and cultural geography. As the year progresses, we will then build on those early concepts and apply them directly as we study different cultural and physical regions of the world.
